Kindergarten Here I am!

Pre-school was awesome but now I’m ready for the big leagues. Today was my first day of Kindergarten. I went to an orientation to get familiar with my new teacher, my new classmates, and most of all my new school.

My teacher is very nice and I am really excited about learning about new things like the “American Flag, stars, signs and airplanes.”

Later on I’m going to meet with my teacher one on one to see where I place academically.

Mama says I’m already doing so well I might quite possibly excel in Kindergarten. How encouraging!

We all introduced ourselves and I happen to be 1 of 8 classmates whose name begins with “J” how funny.

She also shared her rules and expectations for our classroom but Pre-school prepared me well. I think I have this part down.

Blue Group

We went over behavior cards- and what a neat color system. It’s pretty simple stuff mom says: bad behavior begets consequences and good behavior begets rewards. I’m going to strive for green, blue, and purple cards!

Overall, I was very nervous but my mom, my stepdad, and my stepmom were all there to support me in this huge milestone of mine. I think mom’s right, I’m going to do just fine!
